Is It Really Possible For YOU To Get In the Best Shape of Your Life OUTSIDE of a Traditional Big Box Fitness Gym?Team Lloyd Irvin believes that physical conditioning is as important to success as technique and proper mental preparation. To that extent, Team Lloyd Irvin has consistently brought in experts in the fields of Strength & Conditioning as well as Nutrition / Performance Optimization. We are not using High School wrestling weight-cutting recommendations or old-of-date bodybuilding weightlifting routines to develop our fighters. Our Strength & Conditioning routines are developed by Rhadi Ferguson, Olympian and former partner at the Institute of Human Performance (responsible for the training of American Top Team). These workouts are SPORTS-SPECIFIC and are a huge reason that Team Lloyd Irvin never gas. In early 2009, a weight-loss expert was also added to the team, allowing Mike Easton and Brandon Vera to EASILY make their lowest weight classes and recover fully following the new protocols. Even amateur competitors have benefitted from the diet and recovery routines provided. We are also one of the few Gyms that has a strict NO PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS policy. We believe in good old fashioned hard work coupled with the best technical coaches and cutting-edge strength and conditioning and nutrition. In short, Team Lloyd Irvin takes a professional approach to all areas of Combat Athletics - from technical development, mental preparation, to strength and conditioning.
